Welcome to Bliss Art
The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” Pablo Picasso
My work reflects what is going on in my life at different stages, as a woman that is always a major influence on my perspective. My work explores the journey of life and often expresses the necessary process of grieving and ultimately finding hope.
The world has inspired me in unexpected ways, the upheaval of the George Floyd murder, protests in the streets have turned my work to social activism.

Marching for Peace was created in 2020, actually finished on August 10th, and came from my heart. At this time of social unrest, the global health crisis a warrior woman came into my consciousness, her powerful presence took on a sculptural form. I took a deep breath and used different techniques to express my deep feeling for this expression of women’s power. She manifested as a Mother, who felt her love as deeply as her wish to protect the vulnerable and fight injustice. She represents women of every color, size and age. She is a warrior for us all.
The Covid crisis has turned the world upside down. As an artist, it has given me more time and a unique insight on the world. Being on lock-down and isolated from many things that we love to do and people we love to communicate with I have learned to find small joys in life. Those include the purring of our foster kitten, the blooming plants in my backyard and the fact that I still like my husband after all of this.
My art is an expression of my joy, frustration, anger and hope.
